(1) Makes you wonder how many Avatars there have been between Wan and Korra. We know that Kyoshi lived for 230 years, Roku for 70, and Aang for 165 (by the time you count everything up). Kuruk was only ~33 when he died (according to the Avatar Wiki). That’s about 500 years (that’s 5% of the 10,000 years), so 5 Avatars (including Korra) every 500 years (give or take, esp. considering that Kyoshi is the longest-lived Avatar). With 1 Avatar every 100 years, we have approximately

The problem is assuming that each Avatar lived for around 100 years. I understand where you’re coming from but yes, take that out of the equation and it seems more plausible. I mean, who’s to say there weren’t Avatars that died in their teens or maybe even as a young children? We don’t know for a fact that every Avatar reached adulthood. Yes, the one’s shown in frame all looked fairly if not very mature but that’s only one level out of how many? However, we should also take into account that perhaps they made the space seem extremely large simply for for aesthetic purposes, so there may not be as many as we think…

Baah! I hate math!😖
