One of my cosplays that is considered “my main rotation” is of Gajeel Redfox in his first set of clothes. My boots unfortunately were not in the best shape since I wasn’t sure of what to use at the time I made it. The studs were smaller and I had the most difficult time getting the ribbon onto the boots. Since I plan to go to a con again soon, I decided to redo my boots and clean them up. I painted the soles, removed any gunk on them and made bigger studs by hand (sculpeys gray clay), spray painted them and then glued them to the ribbon. Then I took mom’s idea of double sided tape and it worked like a charm! Yeah, I got one spot to fix but I love how they look so far!!!!!

Thank you! I just got back from doing some touch ups, walking around in them to see how well they hold and so far things look good! Here’s the final result and yes, I am wearing batman themed pants lol
