A good friend of mine at funimation’s friend was recently attacked by two masked men recently and it’s really hard on everyone at funimation. I never met him, but Derek is a kind man and he was severely injured in the recent attack. According to the Link, Derek had to get surgery due to trauma to the head and is still in the ICU.
