It also urges state education officials to include those topics to their high school health curriculum, Lisa Leff of The Washington Post wrote. The measure did not receive any opposition in the Legislature, and even nearly received a unanimous bipartisan backing.”

This is so great

Back when I was in high school for our senior health class the final part of it we learned what to do in an abusive relationship. We learned all about the signs, and what to do to get out of it. Everything I learned in that class helped me avoid two possible relationships that if I went through with it could have turned ugly and also helped a friend in a time of need. I truly wish they’d make it mandatory in all classes.
