Working on the hall with dad

Me:(trying to get spray paint cover off but can’t get a grip, walks back in to shop) “Dad, I can’t get this off.”
Dad:(takes can and tries getting the cap off but fails. Bangs it against table breaking the cap. Hands the can to me)
Me:”that was easy.”
Dad:”when in doubt use a hammer.”
