“eevee’s evolutions are determined by moveset” – demonstrably false. jury’s out on nicknames, have yet to see a case where pyro/rainer/sparky nicknames have failed when the nicknames were confirmed to have been saved by the servers
“the green pulse around the nearby list indicates you’re facing in the right direction” – the green pulse indicates that the nearby list has been updated – it doesn’t necessarily mean something’s changed, just that the list has essentially ‘refreshed’
“tapping a pokeball after missing will recover it” – this is just straight-up not the case
“you can hatch eggs by shaking your device/spinning your device/any sort of stationary movement” – pokemon go DOES NOT USE A PEDOMETER, the step counter is based on your GPS location moving
“downloading offline maps for google maps will decrease load times” – this seemed legit because it is the case for ingress, but it is not here – pokemon go does not use google maps’ API for location data.
“you can email nintendo with proof of disability to unlock different settings” – nintendo did not develop the game, no one would set them to be something that you have to contact the developer to unlock, and they would not require proof to change said settings
“the leaves indicate a pokemon is going to spawn there” – it seems to just be cosmetic, but may indicate that a pokemon will spawn somewhere soon
“different weather conditions affect pokemon spawns” – the one i heard the most is “storms = electric and water pokemon”, this has no basis in reality
one that’s true:
some pokemon do have altered spawn rates based on what time it is! clefair and the gastly line appear more frequently at night.

I sat at the campus gym for like, half an hour whittling its prestige down so I could take it over, then just as I did, some random red dude sniped it from under me. So I healed up and cleared him out of there with a sound beating, but before I could get anyone in the gym, his buddy stuck a pokemon in there. It took some careful timing, but I eventually managed to stick a random flareon in there (I have so many flareon, guys. It’s a problem. I just want a jolteon or vaporeon. Either one would do. Just not another flareon, please)
So naturally, the guy starts fighting the flareon to take it out, but this time, I was ready. As soon as he wiped out the flareon and the gym turned grey, I struck. I stuck another flareon with the same nickname and nearly the same cp in there.
Cue “WTF is this piece of shit glitchy game doing?” reaction from the guy. "I beat it, why is that thing still there?“ Meanwhile, I healed up my first flareon, so when he tried again, I just stuck it back in the gym. After a few times, the timing got really easy. He beats flareon, I stick the other in, heal while he’s fighting, rinse and repeat.
I was just gonna let it go after a few repetitions, but then his buddy said “Maybe it’s that girl over there doing it?” and he replied “No, can’t be, girls suck at Pokemon.”
Bitch, it is on.
I kept it up for half an hour until he ran out of healing items and had to storm away frustrated that he couldn’t seem to capture this “glitchy” gym.

I tried a new coloring style. I think it looks more like the colors Hiro Mashima chooses. It looks nice because I am drawing his characters but I don’t think it would look nice in my personal art.
And none of us,have the courtesy to ever drop by a mail in his inbox on twitter,a heartfelt “Thank you”.But for sending hate,It takes us barely 0.02 seconds.And yet,he continues to try to understand us,continues to make AMAZING AF Graffitis for us and gives us those shippy moments that we so crave,despite FT being a shounen by nature.
Honestly,For an author to weekly update his manga,sometimes increasing the number of pages,sometimes introducing double issues,and many a time making a color page and then even after so much work,still make Graffitis with his whole heart,effort and patience,-all the while never compromising the quality of the work- is VERY FUDGIN HONESTLY UNDER-APPRECIATED.WE SHOULD NOT TAKE HIM FOR GRANTED.I personally have never felt by looking at his works that he has compromised the quality in any way.
Yes,sometimes the manga may feel a bit rushed,or maybe a bit too much fanservice,or maybe a little weak villains,but those are the part of the dos’ and don’ts,ups and downs of making manga.We should,just like Hiro-san,have enough patience to see how the manga unfolds,where it goes,etc.And also,try to remember FT’s good points too before bashing him for making the whole FT!{like srsly people,chill}
MOST IMPORTANTLY,REMEMBER THAT FAIRY TAIL IS HIRO MASHIMA’S STORY. WE SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE AND RESPECT THIS FACT.
