May look like a bunch of wires but it’s actually going to be members of fairy tail for the miniature guildhall I’ve been working on finished the last one and now I got 37 in total (not including the exceeds) the purple blob over there is going to be a big surprise for inside the guild! 😉

I know it doesn’t look like much but there’s a reason I’m posting this. The total artist in me has been getting into making miniatures the past month. I know this year is the tenth anniversary of Fairy Tail and I decided to show my love for fairy tail in a way no fan has before; I decided to make a miniature of the entire fairy tail guild. I got a lot of supplies in going to need (plywood, resin, wire, an assload of polymer clay and lights that go by battery pack). Right now I’m making the skeletons for the members of the guild and so far I got six (natsu, Lucy, gray, Wendy, erza, Mavis) and I got the mold for a secret surprise inside the guild! I do plan to make a video of me making it and will post the final results when all is good and ready!

George Morikawa, the author of the long running series Hajime no Ippo (27 years old, 1147 chapters to date, and 114 volumes thus far) has drawn a Gruvia piece to pay tribute to Fairy Tail’s 10th anniversary. View all artwork by other mangaka for the occasion here.

As you can see, this is not the first time Morikawa-sensei has drawn Gruvia. The first picture (Mashima-sensei comments he’s excited and touched about) is from another milestone (I think, if someone knows exactly where that would be appreciated) and is rather old, but he says that he loves these two (Juvia and Gray) the most in FT (favorite characters). His opinion has not changed after all these years, which bodes well for the pairing because Mashima-sensei seems to be pretty close to him! Morikawa-sensei and Mashima-sensei tweet each other quite often on twitter. Some of you will recognize Morikawa-sensei’s twitter account since it appears on Mashima-sensei’s so often. In fact, just three days ago Mashima-sensei retweeted this. XD

Anyway just found it pretty neat. Mashima’s former assistant also drew Juvia this year as well.
