Fanfic writer practice exercise!

Ok, my well is running a tad bit dry for this coming chapter, so an idea came to mind to me; why not a small exercise to get everyone’s creative juices flowing? The game is simple. We basically come up with a situation, it could be anything and then we use our imagination to try and handle it. We add on to the situation until we reach closure. (The add ins can be good or bad, comical or add on to the story itself)

Example: beginning: you’re stuck in traffic and need to make it to work. The situation is bumper to bumper and there’s no way out.

Middle: but then you find another road that leads to work so you take it when you have enough turn space

Second issue: as you’re on your way, you hit a pothole and get a flat tire.

Solution: but you have a spare in the back and make it to work.

Just like that but so on and so on. Alright I guess I’ll start us off

There’s a box. The box is medium sized, pretty sturdy probably made from wood, but has mutiple chains on it along with locks. Even though it looks and feels light, the thing moves on its own and it literally has some satanic bullshit going on. Our goal is to try see what’s inside the box as well as get rid of this box, without opening it or unlocking the locks.

Me: *takes heat gun and EMF readers and sees they’re literally off the charts* “Aww jeez. This looks serious.”
